So after finally turning my screenplay into a book, I can go on to tell the next story in The Son of Light series. I've tried to fund the rest of the movies/comics using Kickstarter and other things and failed. But as a self-publisher, I have more power than I could ever hope for.
I have started book 2, The M.B.S. guild. If you thought your college days were crazy, then like Jon Snow, you know nothing. This is the book where Josh meets his brother's crazy friends and joins them in their battle to defeat Lord Hexen. Honestly, it's going very well. I've been outlining this book since 2012 and now it's just a simple game of patients.

New cover for my eBook
It was right there in my face this whole time! Since publishing my book to Smashwords in April, I've been trying to come up with a good cover. I shared my old ideas on Reddit and got very honest reviews...good old Reddit.
Finally, I decided to use an image from my unfinished comic book where Nick is fighting Hexen and Damen. I colored it and it came out pretty nice. I didn't draw it, no that credit goes to the artists I hired back in 2013.
I like this image. I was going to hire someone on Fiverr, but some of the people wanted me to choose an image from some website. I knew this wouldn't do. I needed something that could tell the story with my characters. What's better than seeing Nick use his flaming vortex on the Demon Lords?

Wrestling (The Good & The Bad)
Wrestling is my sport. I love it, but like everything it has it's pros and cons. I'll start with the cons. I've been wrestling since 2003 and I have seen so much negativity. Most of it comes from the politics of the sport such as who's better? Who sucks? Which coach is better? And so on!
In the case of Varsity Wrestlers, jesus lord! I have never seen so many corrupted and arrogant children in my life! I had a teammate once who was a very good friend during my early years in wrestling. In my senior year, sadly, he was sucked into the politics and our friendship faded away.
As a coach, I tired to keep things fair and focus on all my kids, but there are some coaches out there who like to favor certain kids (the better wrestlers). As a result, those kids become hard headed and rude and it makes me want to go Chuck Norris on someone. But it's important to remember that there are always better ways to deal with this.
